Vintage 18K gold cocktail ring with blue synthetic spinel, 50s
This vintage ring is an example of a cocktail ring, and dates back to the 50s; the frame is made entirely of 18K yellow gold.
In the center the ring is decorated with a beautiful synthetic blue spinel and round cut. The setting that holds the stone is quite high, thus allowing it to come out particularly, and is made with a crown shape. The shoulders of the ring are also decorated with floral motifs and engravings.
The general shape and appearance of this ring perfectly reflect the style of cocktail rings, made to be seen, to be showy and above all to be clearly visible to all.
