18K gold ring with rubies and sapphire
Particular and nice ring in the shape of a bee / fly, in gold with rubies and sapphire.
This is another example of a converted jewel: this small insect was born as a pin, but was then transformed into a ring; the head of the ring is therefore ancient, dating back to the early twentieth century, while the stem is modern.
The central part of the bee / fly's body is decorated with a ruby and a sapphire, while the wings are embellished with two other rubies. The head, the legs, as well as the entire frame, are made of 18K gold.
