Vintage 14K gold ring with opals, 60s
Vintage gold butterfly ring with opals.
This lovely vintage ring (from the 60s) was entirely modeled in 14K gold and with the shape of a wonderful little butterfly; its four wings are each decorated with an opal, cut with a drop cabochon cut, and colored with red, orange, green, blue and purple veins.
Like all opals, these also change colors and shades based on how much light they are exposed, and for this butterfly ring I think better stones could not have chosen.
