Antique 18K gold earrings with diamonds, early 900s
Each of these earrings is studded with rosette-cut diamonds, for a total of twenty diamonds: an outer circle of eleven rosettes surrounds an inner one of seven, placed around a larger central.
The round shape and the result this diamond composition creates make these earrings truly regal.
Equipped with a latch closure, it is also decorated with a diamond rosette.
The frame is made entirely of 18K gold and the earrings date back to the early twentieth century.
(The frame, in these photos, is slightly lighter than in real life - due to the amount of light to which the earrings were exposed; in real life it is more yellow - as you can see from the last two photos - being made in yellow gold. 18K).
