Antique brooch / pendant in 14K gold and silver with old cut diamonds, early 900s
For this jewel there would not be many things to say: the photo, in fact, already speaks enough for this wonderful object.
It is a brooch that also turns into a pendant, made with the shape of a star and completely covered with old-cut diamonds.
In order to transform the brooch into a pendant, the screw on the back must be unscrewed, in order to detach all the part that includes the needle; on the profile of one of the points we then find the slot that serves to pass the chain to to wear around the neck and ag.
Starting from the largest diamond, the central one, the six points of the star are decorated with a series of sloping diamonds, which therefore become smaller as you get closer to the narrowest point.
The brooch is ancient and dates back to the very early years of the 14th century, and is made of XNUMXK gold and silver.
